Our Story
- A White Farmhouse Legacy -
A Place of Goals, Dreams, and Hard Work
A two-story white farmhouse sits on a family farm located near the southern edge of Wayne County. For generations, that farmhouse has been a sanctuary after a long day’s work.
It has provided safety during summer storms, warmth during winter snows, and security through all seasons of the year. It holds memories of learning to ride bikes, hauling hay, walking beans every 4th of July, baling straw on the hottest day of the year, and caring for something other than just yourself. It is where spring calves were nursed on the concrete basement floor during late season snow storms, which often meant coping with good and bad outcomes. It is where all of the outbuildings were painted one summer after wrecking a pickup just a mile down the road. It is canning tomatoes in the kitchen and gathering eggs in the henhouse with mom. It is checking cows and hauling livestock and grain to market with dad.

To this day, it is a place to solve problems through ingenuity, collaboration, and forward thinking—a place of goals, dreams, and hard work. It still stands as a place of refuge and comfort. That white farmhouse is about one family, working together, and building a life around a business. It embodies everything for which our company stands. This is real life. This is White Farmhouse Realty.

As a lifelong resident of the Wayne area, my roots are firmly planted in our community. I take great pride in what our company and local area have to offer. I was raised on a farm south of Wayne in the “White Farmhouse” for which this company is named. As my first home, that white farmhouse has played a significant role in all facets of my life, and the decisions made there continue to influence me on a daily basis. Since a very young age, I have dreamed of one day owning and managing a small business.
White Farmhouse Realty, LLC, is the culmination of years of planning. My primary business model is built on the belief to never stop learning, treat others fairly, work hard, do the right thing, and be a good role model to those watching. My agricultural background coupled with Marketing and Public Accounting degrees and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Wayne State College have been an integral part of my desire to stay in Wayne to build a career and raise my family. This community and the people in it have welcomed me home my entire life.
To this day, I enjoy spending free time at the farm with my husband and two young sons along with my other family members. You can often find us working livestock and helping with the alfalfa and row crop operations. Gardening, reading, remodeling, do-it-yourself projects, and day trips are also favorite past times. I look forward to helping all of you find a “White Farmhouse” of your very own by being a part of your next real estate transaction. Welcome Home.

I am a lifelong resident of Northeast Nebraska. My love for people led me to working with the public for many years after graduating from Allen High School. I then went on to Wayne State College to further my education. My real estate classes were taken through Northeast Community College in Norfolk, and Larabee School of Real Estate in Lincoln.

A white farmhouse near Allen was where I was raised, so I can add my personal touch to “White Farmhouse”. In addition, my husband, Bob and I farmed southwest of Wayne before moving into town. I am very familiar with farm life, which is a plus when buying or selling acreages or land. We have two sons, Michael who lives near Wayne, and Brent, out in Pittsburgh, PA. One of my greatest joys is being with my two Pittsburgh grandsons, Logan and Jackson.
I enjoy spending time outside gardening and working on projects with my husband. Another favorite pastime is attending events in Wayne and surrounding towns, as chances are very high that I will see a familiar face. When home, I enjoy baking and cooking. Also, a walk with the grand dog throughout Wayne brightens my day.
I love living in Northeast Nebraska and serving clients in Wayne, as well as the surrounding communities. I am happy to help people with their next chapter in life whether it is opening a new chapter, or closing a chapter, or doing both.

Carroll, Nebraska is home for me, and I live outside of my hometown on a small acreage. Having grown up in the Wayne and Carroll area, I have a love for the small towns of Northeast Nebraska and what those communities have to offer. I enjoy the tranquility of rural Wayne County as well as the people who inhabit the local area. My ambition for real estate sales stems from my love of helping others and seeing our communities thrive.
Prior to my career in real estate, I worked in childcare for several years which taught me the virtues of patience, communication, and dealing with unusual situations. This background mirrors the work of a real estate professional in many ways. I am a graduate of Wayne High School and completed my real estate classes through VanEd Real Estate School while interning at White Farmhouse Realty, LLC.
My husband Lee and I have a daughter, Meleah, who enjoys playing volleyball and softball. Lee is a truck driver for Sudbeck Trucking Inc. and mostly hauls milk and byproducts for local dairy farms. In my down time, you can find me running my daughter to various activities, curled up with a good book, or spending time outside on our farm with my family and pets. We have several dogs, cats, chickens, and a variety of other farm animals with which I have a love/hate relationship. I especially enjoy visiting a lake, swimming pool, or waterpark in the summer.
I am so excited to assist in the process of finding your next home or business opportunity! My focus is on you, the client, and I look forward to building our relationship in the years to come. I have been fortunate to build a life and a home in a place that is very special to me. Now it is time to let me help you put the “home” in hometown!
